Implementation of a Azure B2C environment
CHALLENGES
Since 2021, the company has entrusted FXi with managing and evolving its Azure environment, including technical and strategic tasks. FXi assessed the Azure platform's current state, daily activities, processes, governance, tools, and initiatives. This assessment defined necessary activities and opportunities for platform evolution.
Key challenges include continuing this commitment: platform modernization, security enhancements, process evolution, automation, and integrating the company and FXi business processes. Ensuring a smooth transition and providing strategic consulting to guide platform evolution according to industry best practices is crucial. This initiative involves renewing company's managed services contract with FXi's dedicated Azure squad, ending annually.
SOLUTION
As part of this project to renew the managed services contract with FXi’s dedicated Azure squad, activities were divided into 3 categories:
- 1 - Technical services
- FX Innovation delivered workshops on governance, technological environment and operations.
- 2 - Platform enhancements
- Included on-site workshops (landing zone structure, connectivity and network, compliance and operational excellence). FX Innovation then implemented the Azure landing zone, including account structure, network and connectivity, IAM, as well as security and compliance.
- Technology consulting services
- Focused primarily on B2C design; it involved selecting and analyzing the selected application candidate, and then defining a technology target for the application candidate. During phase 3, FX Innovation designed the B2C solution architecture, which involved defining the technological architecture for the Azure B2C cloud infrastructure.

- Cost Optimization: Utilization of Azure functions to stop DEV/non-prod VMs outside of business hours resulted in a 25% reduction in costs.
- Platform Improvement: Development of 10 new modules in Terraform led to a 25% increase in the baseline repository, enhancing overall platform performance.
